YMCA staff, volunteers and board members came together at Limestone Hall, at the Historic Courthouse on the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 to celebrate last year's impact on our community and to recognize our dedicated volunteers and staff who truly make Central Kentucky a great place to live, work and play. The YMCA of Central Kentucky announced Feb. 5, 2019 the grand opening of Jump Start, featuring Shuffle Bean Coffee, at the Whitaker Family YMCA in Hamburg. Jump Start, featuring Shuffle Bean Coffee is a smoothie and espresso bar that features healthy food and drink options, including smoothies, coffee drinks, vitality bowls and baked goods.

Along with singing “Auld Lang Syne” at the start of the New Year, making resolutions is a tradition for millions of Americans. However, while choosing a resolution can be easy, sticking to them is hard. A YMCA survey found that less than a quarter of respondents kept their resolutions.

The YMCA of Central Kentucky’s mission is to serve the community. 

We are excited to announce that the Frankfort YMCAs and Crayon Club have merged with the YMCA of Central Kentucky.
