Quality care is key in your child's development. The YMCA Crayon Club achieves this through personal attention focused on:

  • Engaging and developmentally appropriate activities utilizing the Creative Curriculum® 
  • Providing a nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, physical and intellectual development
  • Nutritious meals to ensure healthy growth including breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack
  • Tadpoles family engagement program and communication app

The Crayon Club offers full day, full year licensed child care, which nurtures and educates children from twelve months to five years. No part time tuition is available.

Days and Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
Closed for the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and professional development days.

The Crayon Club is located in a spacious and scenic area two miles from 1-64, exit 58 and Versailles Road/US 60. The facility sits at the back of Industrial Park #3 and offers a convenient location for families traveling to or from Frankfort on US 60 or 1-64.

Want to enroll or be placed on the waitlist? Complete and submit the registration form and $35 registration fee. Once the registration form and fee are received the Center leadership will review your information, the age of your child and your preferred start date. If a space is available for your child you will be contacted with more information. If a space is not immediately available or you are looking for care in the future your child will be placed on the waitlist by the date the registration form and fee is received. You will be contacted when a space is available. Families are welcome to call to check on waitlist status. 

The YMCA Crayon Club participates in the Kentucky Child Care Assistance Program and other select assistance programs. Contact us for more information.

How is tuition paid? Tuition is drafted weekly, one week in advance from a bank account or automatically charged to a credit card. A valid payment method must be on file.
