Although our School Agers aren’t with us year round, like our other age groups, in this classroom, the curriculum seeks to engage children and build off of their interests and topics chosen are often enhanced by visitors in the community. Yoga and DEAR Time, in which children are encouraged to drop everything and read, occur daily, but these children also enjoy science experiments, cooking, games, building, art, and more. With their own dedicated classroom and playground, the School Agers have the benefit of a space separate from our younger age groups. This program is open on Fayette County schools out days such as Fall Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer. It also offers limited space to children on Snow Days.
